I hope you will start right now to see yourself getting involved as a vital part of the "family of God" here at JulingtonBaptistChurch. It is difficult for me to tell you where things begin and certainly where they end at Julington. However; since you are here I will try without boring you, “I pray,” to give you a snap shot of Julington. We are founded on the faith of Jesus Christ as “The Lord and Saviour.” We are a church where celebrities can come and feel humbled, and the base of the world can be uplifted. The “Word” of God is taught, preached, and lived here without compromise. Our mission is to Make, Mark, and Mature Christians. This is accomplished through a ministry of Leading, Caring, and Proclaiming God’s Word.
We offer a new member’s class titled “A beginner’s Faith,” that touches on four fundamentals of Christian growth and development; Salvation, Ordinances, Stewardship, and Administration. Each of these classes are taught during the Sunday School hour (9:45 AM -) each Sunday (except 5th Sunday) and may be attended by any person or persons that would like to challenge their understanding of “What saith the Scripture” in these areas of church life. Members of Julington will continue after the initial scriptural introduction to an additional four weeks of personal gift’s and talents training under the leadership of Assistant Pastor Thomas Staples. After completing the New Member’s training and orientation our Associate pastors will ensure continued hands on development and church growth through application. The various staff and leadership ministries at Julington include some of the most conscientious Christians on this side of heaven. Through this media you will have the opportunity to meet many of them.
You attend church to become furnished with the skills and enthusiasm to leave and serve in the field of life. Although there is something happening everyday in the halls of Julington, for the most part the general membership are only called upon two times a week for service. Wednesday night bible study, Sunday School and Sunday morning worship. This is a part of the overall plan of ministry at Julington. You have a life, and God expects you to live it in the field. We want to help you to grow and mature by demonstrating where it counts the things that God has developed in you. So, we are not redundant in ministry, just effectual. For those of you who have special growth needs contact us and let us know how we may help you. Our BibleCollege curriculums or some resource material from our book store may suit your need.
